On-location cyanotype prints
.Capture the essence of the environment, place found objects / seaweed directly onto wet prepped paper. Leave in the sunshine, once colour changes, rinse & hang to dry..
Experimentied with different combination of chemicals, paper & exposure times, pushing boundaries.
Scrolls created (printed on both sides of paper), added stitch & kelp to add texture.

Adapting techniques on location
Making art on the move means learning to work in harmony with the environment. Embrace the materials come across, experiment with techniques & make it up as you go. From smudging (pressing with finger) petals & leaves onto paper, crushing shells & rocks to make pigments, or printing with seaweed.. Enjoy the place, the process & being creative..
Can use these sessions to create artworks & or play with ideas to build upon in studio.
